Previously Brianserved as President and CEO, Owner and Operator of Comforts of Home facilities in St. Croix Falls, ChippewaFalls, and Baldwin, WI. He served as President and CEO of Suite Living facilities in Hugo, Blaine, White Bear Lake,North Branch, and Champlin, all in Minnesota. Brian has over 25 years of extensive multi-site senior housingmanagement experience in retirement living, assisted living, memory care and specialty senior services. Brianhas developed, owned and /or operated over 28 communities since 1999.

Operations

Mr. Markoe brings over thirty years of experience in the Healthcare Industry. He founded, owned and operateda total of 128 group homes throughout the Twin Cities area and pioneered the group home/home care modelfor the State of Minnesota in the late 80’s by providing 24-hour Nursing care to ventilator dependent patients,as well as people with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Over the years he has worked closelywith Mr. Winges on several projects developing Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in the State ofMinnesota.

Our leadership team has been serving the senior living industry for over 20 years.We have operated 80+ communities during that time. We have successfullymanaged 30 new developments and 40+ acquisitions and turnaround opportunities.Our focus has been on specialty care services including memory care and higheracuity assisted living services. Both Joel Moyer and Melissa Miller are on the boardof directors for the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association. We have beeninnovators in care, leadership, and technology implementation during our careers.We understand the need to continue to seek solutions to improve care and relatedrevenue, operational efficiencies, and better outcomes for residents. We partnerwith thought leaders and fellow innovators in the industry. We are highlighting ourpartnerships in upcoming podcasts to help fellow providers implement innovativesolutions across the country.
